The rustic charm of this family-owned hotel, complete with a lounge, tavern, and beer garden, offers a true taste of traditional German hospitality.The morning greeted us with a delightful complimentary breakfast, setting the tone for a day of exploring the surrounding countryside filled with hiking and cycling routes. The friendly staff, though language barriers existed, went out of their way to accommodate our needs and share local tips for our stay.Our spacious room, though with shared bathroom facilities down the hall, was clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful night's rest after a day of outdoor adventures. The onsite restaurant, serving regional hearty meals, not only satisfied our hunger but also added to the authentic experience of staying at Pension Doldewirt.As an eco-conscious traveler, I appreciated the sustainable practices of the hotel and the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities like skiing and golfing in the area.
